Epiphanology...
A 12-year-old Oregon boy had permission to drive the family pickup truck to the end of the driveway to unload trash, but he kept going until he was stopped nearly 100 miles away in Lewis County, Wash.
The Clackamas County sheriff's office says it received a call from the boy's mother reporting the boy and the pickup missing from their home in Damascus, Ore., near Portland.
An alert went out, and the eager young driver was safely stopped by a Lewis County sheriff's deputy.
Detective Jim Strovink says the case will be referred to juvenile authorities for possible prosecution of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving without a license.
Strovink says the mother didn't do anything wrong in letting the boy drive in the driveway because that's private property. – Associated Press
Have we as parents gotten so relaxed that we let our children drive the trash to the curb... Give me a break... I mean what do you live on a plantation... is the end of the driveway that far that he couldn't walk the damn trash... I blame the mother because she and her son are lying... they had to make up that bogus lie of him driving the trunk to the end of the driveway to take the trash... because there ain't (and yes I said "Ain't") no way I would even think to let "little billy" drive my truck to take some trash... The real story is ... "Little Billy" and his Momma got in an argument and he said "I'm leaving" and he stormed out the house with the truck key's in hand and bounced...
That's just my opinion... Come on 100 miles ... he was taking out more than some trash...

If Little Billy had a black Momma, he would have been carried out in a truck going to a grave site. Kids are truly getting away with too much these days. Timeout should have "NEVER" been invented. Bring back the old fashion beatdown with switches and belts. It's time for a MADEA alert. LOL
HALLELUYER to that!
I know that's right... When I was growing up "Time Out" didn't exist... I can tell you what happend to this new generation in one word....(Drum roll please...........) CRACK... when Crack hit the streets in the 80's it messed up the world as we know it.
Ok, I would have beat his arse! I wish Boy would! He gets the evil eye when he ASKS to drive my car [for practice]. But to take out trash? How lazy can you be (mom and son)?! And to joy ride for 100 miles?! I say 100 lashings each for the both of them! Have mercy!
LOLOLOL whoneedshair you are taking it back to "Kunta/Tobe" days with your "100 lashings" LOLOL
I'll just say let's take it back to the mountain top experience of Jesus getting beat with the cat of nine tails. Now that's a beating!!!! I hate to say, but some kids need an experience like that to get their act together. Have mercy is right!!!!!
